If you go on line to "shadetreemechanic.com" in Byron, Ga. you will find a shop that puts ford tractor engines in Ford 150 and they are getting 50 to 60 Mpg. These guys have been featured so several T V shows and other news events. They have an available book listing all parts - what bolts up - what to use - complete How To. Seems that if you used all this using the 3 or 4 cyl tractor diesel you could just sit it over in the 32 frame. The tractor engine is narrow enough that the hood will still fit.
