I remembered that i have a 1932 ford model b truck that all i have left is the cab and a model t frame. my plan is to paint it to match my idi. also make a set of dually fenders and stick a dana 80 in the rear. but i don't know what engine to put in it. i was thinking:

-edelbrock high performance Flathead V8

-a diesel out of a ford tractor, home made turbo, turned up a bit

-4BT cummins, all the goodies getting as much power as i can

I would choose the 4bt bc there are lots of parts for it, easy to get power, economical and it even shares parts with the 6bt.

i have thought of that too but there is part of me that wants to keep it all ford

That is a good point, but You said You want it with power and although My knowledge of ford diesel engines isn't very extensive I would go with the engine that is easier to get power out of. Don't keep it all ford, make it all You and take the credit

if i go the 4BT route and decide to run twins, how could i possibly make it fit because those old ford frontends weren't that big
