engine temp was up to 230 degrees (that is where I had my audible alarm set). EGT was at 880. This was going with the wind down a slight grade. So I turned the pig around and headed home after pulling it only 6 miles.
On way home I pushed it a bit more and coolant temp would hit 238, EGT just under 1000. That was me just trying to keep it at 65mph. The powers there, just not the cooling.
New 3 core aluminum radiator from Northern. 50/50 mix. 95% sure I installed a Motorcraft T-Stat. New viscous fan drive.
The one thing I did not notice is a roaring fan when it got hot, new fan drive junk??? If I put it in neutral and coast it will cool it down real fast. But I can get the temp to climb really fast as well
