093 crossover pipe

So I found a shop that will make a mandrel bent crossover. Thats what the original was, heavy gauge aluminized . Hope fully he can source flanges so it can be one piece, otherwise it will be 2 pieces with a slip on the bottom.
I am gauging interest in these and a prebuy as they are going to be 150.00 plus shipping . He has a 90.00 setup fee and that is for one pipe or a hundred. Its twice what ford used to sell then for but .
Getting them done with a compression bend is cheaper but we test bent a piece and it isnt pretty.
Please let me know as I have searched everywhere for these and they are nonexistent, the 088 one I have looks the same so maybe???

i'd suggest a two piece so the F and E series can be accomodated as well as keeping the costs down.

Its actually going to be the same im considering worst case. my kit was a new ats and it was just steel so the aluminized will last longer. He can do stainless but material costs are higher, bending is the same price.

isn't the F and E driver's side manifolds have a different dump location?

No it is just the pipe that goes from driverside to pass side. For wht it is worth I would rather have a 2 bolt flange at the bottom in the middle with a gasket just for ease of removal instead of a slip joint. Might cost more but I think it would make install and removal easy.

2 pieces would be easier to ship. A lot of people wind up getting 2 pieces BC the PO cut it to ship it. Just a thought

The van side is higher. I would build it with a weld in v band joint if I did them myself, but not an option, I figure they can be cut by the buyer. If it even happens, Im just not laying out the money for more stuff to sit on, and I dont have it right now anyway.

And I do have the turbo mounting parts.

true but that is not a mandrel bent one, may not even do it, my turbo guy says that it is a moot point on the drive side of the turbo due to rpm and flow. ,and if I cant source flanges, they will be 2 piece.

Would it be an exact duplicate or an upgrade? An improvement on the old piece.

Not much room for improvement other than aluminized tubing will be used. Stainless is an option but will be more of course.
I am getting lots of requests for them but none are serious.
