got me a new toy! turboed also!
check for voltage at the fuel solanoid, if none than jump a hot wire to it. turbo should be fine, remember jus a tap is enough either for a diesel. mine became a junky after a couple months then ate the valves after a year. oil should be ok unless its really thin like wd40. a heat gun aimed at...- 19jackal90

it was dragged a couple times when it happened so if it didnt get to +400 psi at 1.5k rpm its gota be electrical... dont have a scan tool, or trailer.- 19jackal90

tach came off peg, new cam sensor, unpluged ip sensor, and still nothing. guess ill push it into the garage for the winter and pull it all apart. have another motor to throw in it.- 19jackal90

ca emissions probly of that year cluster was 180hp and 338ft/lbs off topic but they made a 275hp 7.3 psd before and while making a 250hp 7.3 psd.... from what ive heard has a diff cam, hpop, turbo, and injectors- 19jackal90

has or had ts 6 posistion switch on it. went to get onto interstate n kicked the switch up to get up to speed then turned it back to economy. 2 miles up the road after that i got a dead pedal, would idle but bogged pushing the pedal. pulled over n shut it off but hasnt started since. had...- 19jackal90

Troubleshooting from the road - valve/rocker noise - before you lose an engine
got ticking in mine now. thinking i might have an exaust valve not seating. everything under the covers is good and the injectors are fine (swaped them out for the g codes).- 19jackal90

wiring crossover, need help
it is the same motor swap, door says it was produced 9/93. no wires goining under the valve covers. ip looks the same as the '89. digital camra bit the dust while finishin up my truck. cell is a piece of crap, rugbys suck dont get one. maybe a diff gauge cluster from a psd? idk... i do kno a few...- 19jackal90

wiring crossover, need help
i have most the important wires just cant find the console wires in the chilton manual. itll run and start and the cruise works, jus no oil pressure, charge, and wait to start light and dosent come on, check engine stays on.- 19jackal90

Fuel Pump Pressure in an IDI fuel system
i hear reds push around 7psi and blues push around 15psi as far as problems idk. i have the original gasser tank in mine and supposedly pushes 60psi and the only problems i have are the gov dosent keep up when u let off so it stalls and it makes the motor run loud as hell. performance wise it...- 19jackal90

Help on picking out idi upgrades
a straight axle swap will save you alota time and headaches if you have one laying around. trans cooler, straight pipe it and get the ats upgrade, turn up the pump and bump up the psi adjusting the wastegate, straight shot of propane, and put a new air filter in it.- 19jackal90
