Since it looks like I will have to swap my flatbed to a stock bed, thanks CA-cuss, I am trying to find the most financially sound option. So far I have found some clean F150s that would make nice, relatively cheap, parts trucks. So like the title says, would an F150 LB bolt right up to the frame of my F250 SCab LB? Hopefully the wiring will be a simple matter of splicing. And would the F150 doors swap to my SuperCab? Trying to stay optimistic about this and looking at it as a chance to upgrade some things like the doors and interior, even though it's already the perfect blend of beat-up and functional.

It's not a matter of 150 vs 250. It's bed configuration (good there since both are LB)
Doors, I can't remember.

sheetmetal will transfer over.
don't worry about doing it until you get busted if you live in a rural area.

Thanks for the replies. I do live in a rural area but I would like to be able to travel without worrying about it. I used to be a darn good procrastinator but these days I like to get on it sooner than later. Boy there sure are A LOT of flatbed and utility bed trucks for sale on local CList right now--coincidence?

here's a big hint......
tack weld the bed bolts to the bed. tack them 180* apart. it will save you a shitload of grief when one decides to spin.

Oh hell yeah! Although in my case, I had to weld a steel rod to each bed bolt because a tack wouldn't hold. Good ol' kanuckistan rust...
