No It was said to add 100* if the probe is right before the turbo. I think you should still be fine with it 10" from the head.
Awesome, thank you for the insight.

I redid the downpipe flange where I attached it to the rest of the exhaust. The downpipe sent to me was 2 3/4 and the stock pipe is 2 1/2, so I welded a stepper to the exhaust side and ran a clamp on the other side. I also used some of that high temp exhaust sealant on the downpipe flange to the turbo, as it wasn't sealing correctly.

In hindsight.. I should have probably waited to put the turbo on until after my camping trip. I'll be looking for a stock or like-stock downpipe soon, I don't need an extra large performance one.

Just got back from doing my test drive, under a continuous load the boost gauge slowly creeps up to about 7 max I think is all I saw, egt's was pegged solid at about 730F, sounds like I'll be adjusting the pump a little tomorrow. I spoke with Wes yesterday, and he said where the bung is installed for the sensor is going to have a very accurate reading. If I was worried at all I can wrap the crossover with insulating wrap, which I might. Also want to look into a turbo blanket at some point.

So far I'm pretty darn happy with how it's working though, definitely puts a smile on me

I highly recommend those. I feel that even a cheap, universal blanket is MUCH better than nothing. I've seen a lot of crispy return lines, throttle cable housings, and wiring harnesses from running a turbo with no type of insulation whatsoever.

This is my one engine.
Not a CDD catch can kit, it's one I made up, but might give you an idea. You are in custom modifying territory as you noticed so nothing is really bolt on or going to line up perfectly without slight modifications, even when purchasing kits. Reach out to wes by phone. He doesn't really use the forum.

Does your catch can drain into the crank or how does it work Iv played around with a few different setups I’m trying to find the best way that works

Catch can is to catch the oil and be drained off later. I found a good way to install mine. It still vents to the intake to burn gasses off, but all oil gets caught in the catch can.

If you run an electric fuel pump you can drain the catch can into the crank which is the easiest way. In my setup it stays in the can so you periodically drain it.

I tried it that way but it filled up my can too fast I have an electric and drilled and tapped block off plate added a fitting to auto drain itself but it still filled up the can and ended up with oil in the intake

That sounds odd how is it filling faster than it would drain?

I got some blow by but doesn’t seem extreme haven’t done a compression test yet but in a 40 mile trip it filled the can and blew a seal out of it and leaked all over the engine
