    Boost doesn't make horsepower fuel does. Boost supplies enough air to burn the fuel you put in the engine without smoking and it helps reduce EGT. High boost without additional fuel reduces power. Jim "99 ISB in a motorhone.

    You will get varied ideas where it should go. I believe what you want to know is what is the temperature of the fluid as it goes into the working parts of the transmission. If that is what you want to know then the pan is the logical place. Jim
