Fan clutch engaging too often?

When i'm cruising donwn the freeway empty my fan clutch is engaging every minute or less. Stays engaged for about 20 seconds then disengages.

EGT's are around 450 to 500, temp is solid at 195, and rpms are around 2500. Is this normal? Maybe just because it is 95* out?

I dont remember it coming on nearly as much last summer.

never woulda guessed

I just hear about all these guys saying "i've only heard my fan kick on once..." and wonder if there is something wrong with mine since it is on all the time.
