T-18/T-19 slave diffs
Well it came out of a 460 truck that was wrecked. Can i use a T-18 I just found a reman for 400! on CL! I dont know whats up with it I thought it was odd?- Chuckdiesel

I am replacing my tranny and I found a T18 but it has an inside slave! I never heard of that but I think I can swap the guts and make it work has anyone ever hear of doing that and is an inside slave common on the t-18s?- Chuckdiesel

flywheel question
I am trying to get stuff for a zf5 swap and found a locked up 97 powerstroke 5 speed 4x4 and wanted to know if the flywheel can be used on my 6.9? I currently only have 2nd and 4th gear so Im looking hard. Amyone that has a 5 speed for sale I would be interested, thanks.- Chuckdiesel

yea I am turning it in the right way it is stamped RH on that side so counter clockwise it right, right? Also there was no locking pin. maybe I will post a pic tomorrow but it is just the nut. it has some tabs inside the thing and has a cup looking thing on the outside and the manual has it...- Chuckdiesel

rear end locked up and I need help!
Ok so the passenger side rear hub is jacked up it cant be turned by hand and it locked up on the interstate today and has only moved a little bit with 4 low in 4 wheel dr. I am trying to take it apart to get to the bearings but I cant. I have the axle out but the outer bearing nut will not...- Chuckdiesel

Was I almost right the first time?
Well this was not a planned event. I had a glowplug drop into the #5 cylinder in my buddies driveway when I was changing them. We took off the pump injector lines and oil fill housing all in one piece to get the intake off. So..... Thats why I an having a time trying to get my truck to live...- Chuckdiesel

I had to pull my head cause of a dropped gp, and its back together but I am trying to figure out what is going on I could not take alignment pics cause I could not see,but I had put the ip gear Y in between the two copper colored teeth I think but it cranked stumbled then fired up and died right...- Chuckdiesel

Ok so this has been a long fix here. I had to let it sit cause I work a lot. Tonight was the starting attempt. I could not take alignment pics cause I could not see anyways. Truck's all back together, with a MOOSE PUMP!
what is a moose pump? I guess you build them. I will be needing one this year, mine is getting sluggish. I just got new injectors, well last summer but they made a good differince.- Chuckdiesel

timimg gear alignment
yea I am taking lots of pics so I can know for later. On my cam gear ther is 2 copper colored teeth that seem to be where the TDC mark may be for the Y. Have you seen a gear with 2 off colored teeth that was the marks for timing?- Chuckdiesel

yea this sucks. I the dang plug just broke off bout a 3/8 if the tip and I can see it stuck there. I got compressor and a good shop vac. I taped a small bottle to the vaccum so the bottle top will fit in the injector hole and a Mac Tools compression tester hose in the GP hole that has a air...- Chuckdiesel
