perfect time to hide a light bar!
are you done yet?
What I was thinking!

I know you did a nice job of a low key light bar but I will probably not add any lights. I am not a big fan of the added lights for fun thing. I guess I am getting old LOL

A little more progress, I tapped the two bolts on the side but I will probably drill them out to the next size and tac a nut on the back side.

I am definitely pushing my Eastwood cutter to the max but so far it's taking it like a champ.

And now I have 2 plates, next up a lot of grinding clean up and fitting the bars across. I am also tying into the L pieces inside the frame rails.

Finally got some time to get back to this. I suspected my frame might be a little tweaked since it ran over the hill years ago. I am finding out it is a little bit. It is not to bad but I have to keep it in mind.

I got the central part mostly welded together. One wing fitted up and then the other.

My wifey walked out before I put the wings on and told me the bumper was ugly. So I might have a wife put up for sale soon LOL just kidding, she is the best but does not have much vision to imagine what it will be when it's done.

I started looking at how I will fit the front reciever in with the winch. It looks like it will work well sitting the winch plate right over the receiver tube.

I would like to lighten up the winch plate but I want to to tie into the main side plates. I will have to think about it a little bit.

Tell her she is on her own when the zombies come. Zombie killing bumpers are beautiful! Don't let anyone tell you different!
Anyway, I dig it, keep the pics coming.

A little more progress with the warm weather. I had to break out one of my 2 4x4 by 3/16 sheets I got for $15! My local scrap yard is awesome, if you see something you want they let you pull it for scrap price.

Anyway, I used some daylight to do all the cutting I could. I got most of the major pieces done including the side plates.

I have most of the internal winch mount done. It will get some more reinforcement ribs underneath after I pull it back off. Got the receiver welded in and am fitting up the front plate.

Not much but I ran into my first oops. I need to move the winch up to clear the fairlead guide.
