I have been in contact with R&D about injectors and possible head. He is getting pricing on head now and injectors are on back order waiting on new nozzles to come in.

Don't look at a head right now. Rule out the injectors first. Plus, I personally wouldn't buy a head, injectors, or even dog food from R&D (J. Anderson) regardless. If you need injectors, Conestoga Diesel or typ4 (Russ) would be my suggestion.

I'll check that, did the soap idea and all bubble dissipated and didn't continue and waited for some sort of evap of water and lines are pretty cold. I assume if pedal isn't hard the pump is bad? Thank you for everyone's help!

Why so much hate when everything I hear about his products is good?

Search here, and you'll find answers. Otherwise drop it. Doesn't need brought up again.
Have no idea what you mean by the pedal.

Well talked to conestoga. Very informative. Thank you for the direction there. Think they will keep my business if all works out. all my buddies keep telling me to just get rid of it and get a Cummins or powerstroke. I just love the simplicity.

Best I can say is you have found the right business to buy from. Now there is not any reason to feel R&D is not the person to deal with. I was "helping" a member with a bad pump from him and this member was "having service issues". It took 3 pumps before he finally gave up and demanded a refund. Justin has done so much for the idi world and I'm thankful for his determination and skill. But when you pay for something you really should get what you pay for. Justin knows this first hand too. He purchased a pump that was supposed to make 200Cc of fuel.... Sadly it kept breaking the drive bolts and drive pin. So being the inventive guy he is he designed a better drive pin and bolts.... Still could not get the power or pyro temps for the power he wanted. He talked to the supposed pump builder only to find out that fells in Ill. did not built it. So he made several calls and actually found the pump builder. While talking with him about the 200CC pump the builder laughed at him. Told him AT BEST.. It was a 150CC pump. So Justin contacted the supposedly builder and told him he would be dealing with the "real builder from now on... Well in Justin's post words were exchanged and things were said. It ended up a parting of the ways... Reason I post this is Justin did the right thing. He was banned from this forum but he came back on under another new ID and explained what happened about being lied to and warned us knowing he would be banned again for "sneaking back on under another name"... I applaud his courage to explain what had happened and to warn us of a business person in the IDI world telling us you pay this amount for a 200CC pump... But what you get is really not what I say you are getting... When you cheat a person you end up cheating yourself out of business...

Contacted the mechanic who originally did the work. He is going to come to me and take a look Thursday. He said he will honor any work he did and if it's the pump just charge me a diag of $60. No biggie when I'm an hour a drive away!

Let truck sit for a solid 2 days, gave the diesel kleen a chance to truly eat away at what ever was in injectors or pump if anything. So now truck runs okay, idles much rougher then usual but no misfire 24/7!!!! Def not a valve issue but an injector or pump issue I have come to the conclusion. Only time it is there is when i cruise below 50 and come to a stop. Other then that I dont have an issue. Maybe injector going bad and getting stuck somewhere? No idea. Either way i plan to buy moose mister injectors and moose pump in the next few weeks and if problem persists then ill take further action. Mechanic came out and couldnt rule out injectors or pump but rules out valve issue. I did a pop test and some are weaker then others but only marginal at best. I will let you know if anything changes. Hope this helps someone in the future with sounds. Just to clarify the injector crack test did not work, the line touch method did not work, nor did the pop test show any sign of mal function(again marginal differences). I would love some ideas thrown out here if someone else had this issue and knows the possible cause within the injector.
