You can use MMO in crankcase as it states instruction on back of bottles. Not a fan of the stuff but it does work well in air tools and soaking rusted parts.
In theory, Auto-RX safely removes carbon buildup on piston rings/skirts which can help decrease blow by. Like I stated, it must have done something if it saved me from adding 2 additional quarts every 3k between oil changes. Been using the same oil & filter combo ever since I've owned it so we can rule that factor out of equation. Have also noticed blow by does not "steam" from oil dipstick tube anymore. But again, Just stating my experience with the product. Use it or call it crap....don't bother me none.

Boys boys, put your ***** away its only the internet lol

Id get some kind of lube in those cylinders, to help ease it along. Use what ever kind of lube you desire lol

Change the oil, get some new diesel in it, and get it running first, then change fluids as you go. No point in spending 100 bucks in tranny fluid for an engine that doesnt fire

#1. Personal attacks are not welcome here.
#2. It's not your thread, you do not own this place.
#3. If you don't want advice then stop asking.
#4. Grow up.

Ok yer new here soooo

The behaviour you are showing iz like a chid throwing a tantrum

You stated what you needed to and then again and again very similar to a spoiled brat trying to get his way...or a bully attempting to push his own agenda.

. now you seem to want to call out or dizcredit to members here who claim it worked.

How is those who claim it works any less real than your claim it does not work.

Why should we believe yee of little... 35 posts here say over someone who has 10K in posts and others who have several thousand ....huh why shpuld we listen to uour continious ranting....

it is about respect and you @Number21 are being exceedingly dissrespectful in this thread now by posting when requested to stop.

"In theory" being the key word here. Fresh motor oil should have the same effect. Synthetic oil will have a stronger effect at this.

Additionally, adding something thicker to your oil can reduce blowby and consumption. This is of course only temporary until you dump it out again. It also raises questions about what it does for engine wear. Auto-RX is very thick, this is why some people claim to notice instant effects.

None of these qualities are needed for the engine being asked about in this thread. We don't know if it has a blowby problem.

But can somebody PLEASE answer me this?
If Auto-RX is so great, why did they have to remove the money back guarantee?
If Auto-RX is so great why can't I buy it anywhere besides over the internet from some guy at his house?
If Auto-RX is so great why does Frank pour it from 55 gallon drums into generic plastic bottles he bought online in his garage? Shouldn't he have a bigger packaging line by now?

This product has been available for more than a decade...yet, sales are decreasing, and it still isn't available anywhere but the owner's house. Doesn't that seem kinda lame to you?

If you think post count has anything to do with knowledge then you are a sad, sad person. And I see somebody has already thanked me for my useful post. Waystro has a bad habit of asking questions and then ignoring the advice and giving his own. That is also rude. I have no reason to respect him. I also think it's rude that you refuse to use any spelling or grammar in your posts, everybody finds it very annoying. You are capable of speaking better. Talk about childish.

I do not know who the owner of this forum is but I suspect they would tell you these threads are for the benefit of any and all who come to read and/or participate in them, so long as they follow the rules.

Additionally, I will refer you and Waystro to the rules here:
(6) No flaming of other members to incite or perpetuate a conflict or argument.

(7) Personal attacks or name-calling can get you banned.

(8) No bombing forums or threads with pointless posts. -this one applies to you, riotwarrior.

Can you back up your claims of him doing this in his garage?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G890A using Tapatalk

Do I have a picture of him personally filling the bottles? No. Have I had long conversations with Frank Miller on the phone that I cannot disclose publicly? Yes. Are there many other posts on the internet making the same claims? Yes.

Simply look up the company and any associated addresses. Check the MSDS. It's a townhouse in Florida. Frank rebottles this stuff himself in very unprofessional looking generic plastic bottles he buys on the internet and puts an inkjet label onto. Couldn't look more cheesy. Very low budget and low quantity production.

I'm willing to bet I've put more research into the Auto-RX product, and the man behind it, than anybody else here.

Auto-RX is very thin. Probably thinner than a 0w-20 oil. And your only adding 24 oz to the crankcase so no, it does not decrease oil consumption by "thickening" oil.
We post on OB to get to know others, help people out with their trucks, and receive help from members who take time out of their busy lives, all in hopes to get you and your truck back on the road. You can become a member on FTE and act like that, but not here.

It depends on temperature. When cold it gells up like animal fat. Much oil consumption is on a cold start.

I'm not the one who keeps breaking the rules with personal attacks. Let's stick to the facts, please. Your opinion is no more correct than mine is.

Why do people like this always pop up? Can't wait for this thread to get cleaned up, I'm interested in how this truck ends up working out.

I do love a brand new member trying to tell longtime respected members the rules though. FYI, you broke rules 6, 7, and 8 in your post citing those very same rules. May want to go back and read them again.

I had to add that the latest posts make it clear there is a lack of honesty in these inflammatory posts. Added to blocked list.

My main concern with the engine has already been addressed by others. Lube. Then comes the question of how much stuff has been hurt from sitting. You'll definitely have some things go bad once it gets going again, but hopefully nothing crazy. Bearings in all kinds of things have dried out, and it doesn't take much moisture in that amount of time to do some damage. Still easier on em than getting ragged on though! Go get that engine fired up and get to work!

wd probably works just fine too. You gotta get through the rust AND lube it up. I just know no different metals I've worked on that the triflow got into the rust better and removed it while greasing it up. Kept the rust away for a good time longer. But any pitting from the rusting is there, if the rings are stuck thats one thing. I have used it to unstick a ring before. Drenched the damn thing through the glowplug hole and let it sit overnight. Compression tested

good luck with the other issues and getting it running

Check if engine oil is on dipstick or not and level of oil....if there procede...

If you can remove all gp do so prior to baring engine over so less resistance

1st it makes it much easier to "feel" anything abnormal...say a piston coming against rust in bore or stuck valve. It is best to remove them. Dry or wet Myself I would do four revolutions dry then add some ligjt oil

2 once barred over a few times with oil let soak....its ok to use very light oil just keep barring over.

3. Prior to attemptimg to start it spin it with no gp so it can build some oil pressure and any excess oil u squirted in is spat out.

If you want a small electric pump and fuel can you can pump into filter and bypass mechanical pump...it ould be dry cracked and dump fuel in crank case or not work at all

4 loosen injector linez a d connect ele fuel pump n activate fuel sol...spin engine get Ip moving filuel to injectors tighten down

5 install gp and connect then attempt crank...ok...if fires ok if doesnt disconnect gp pffft of crack dow n intake while cranking..just a pffft..1/2 second...remote starter switch are handy.

6 shoukd fire if so golden...watch for leaks...if no coolant 2 min max run...

Have fun most of all...take yer time..
If fires has coolant then its time work fluid changes but dont waste $$ till it runs...cause it may never...
