Okay, it started on the truck’s both tanks, i held it at 2000rpm, for about a minutes then it died, the tanks are at 1/2 each, i have a clear line going to the mechanical pump to the filter, and it seems like the fuel dropped
Ok, you are getting closer. So obviously your problem is not on top of the engine, but is behind the fuel pump on the suction of the pump. The pump is running out of fuel for some reason. If you want to verify this, pull the rubber hose off the suction line of the pump, and put a longer hose on that and stick it down in a fuel can with diesel in it. Then see if you can pick that up and see how long it runs. Besides the satisfaction of seeing your engine run for more than 2 minutes, it verifies your problem is from the fuel pump to the tank or tanks.

If this all works out, I think the next thing I would do is pick the front or the rear tank, and splice those lines together with the lines after the tank selector valve(bypass the valve). These valves are very failure prone and susceptible to dirt fouling them up inside.
