I built this junk as my daily driver.
My rock crawler is geared at 173:1 with both arb's locked in the diff's ( read spool) how does ANYTHING stay together on the rubicon trail?
If the "as stated" bit about breaking stuff in low range is true how have I possibly run this thing thru the trail and survived?
I am no keyboard warrior, but In my opinion I beleive you could use some ojt and less reading junk online???!
Also every time I go to the big city (Frisco ca) famous for its hilly grades remember the streets of sf tv show?
I run my brownie in low all day up and down the hills.
Rarely get over 35.

Are you pulling/towwing anywhere from 10,000+ pounds? If your not towing and your trailing, not the same type of "wear occurring" (as your ujoints and such get beat up from wheel "hop" or other offroad obstacles) that weight up a hill on a single drive shaft, more so u joint is going to be intense.
if you look back youll see i mentioned my 53' willys. I intend to pull the pin to be able to run 2 low but dont intend to tow with it.
My question is:
If 2wd low has so many applications and more so is all around safe to use that way, why doesnt anyone make it available on a tcase? (if you know of a truck that does please let us know) ~~~this is a literal question not an "argument"~~
The load debate is pretty simple, if your not distributing power to the front axles your not distributing load up there either. All load is on the rear axle. Doesnt mean your going to grenade you u jouint but does mean its going to take excessive wear compared to only having to hold/pull half the load because its distributed.
