So Pedro, with that much fuel, your milage must really suck now. Almost 30psi? What are your goals for it?

Ya I think he did. I at least saw a tread on it. Not sure if he did get rid of it officially. If he did, I want to know how the setup is doing on the new guys truck! He sold only the PSD turbo and mounts i believe.

Did dyoung14 ever put it on at all? Its pretty much the same turbo setup as this thread if I'm correct cus Barney didn't sell his other turbo. He kept the Banks on the new engine.

This makes me want to run a 99-03 PSD turbo (wastegated) in the bed. How
Much did that oil system run you? Run the PSD turbo into the stock ATS. That would be neat.....

He said he got sponsored by a local line shop or something for the oil feed. I DO have to wonder what restriction size is in there because you know they both can't be that big...

The pump he chose to scavenge his oil moves 4 gpm so I'm pretty sure there won't be an issue with restricting the "used" oil, the lines he used look pretty big.
The stock feed line is something like 1/4" or something like that right?
Where do you see an issue with oil restriction?

Probably not to bad, my pump maxed out at 21psi was getting good mileage, but it was only 2wd. Based on my truck and a few others on this site, I think its safe to say that these trucks can hold a lot more boost and make a lot more power than what they have been. Ohh and my truck had factory studs.

As far as the turbo goes, there is a restriction in the factory setup to keep from blowing the oil through the turbo. Oil MUST sit in the bearings for more than a wash to extract the heat out of the parts prior to being sent back. Look into the tube that is factory to the oil pressure gauge on the back of your engine. It has a restrictor in it too.

My guess is as soon as he hits the throttle, it dumps fuel down the gullet of the engine. He has it all maxed out and there is barely any smoke. If he stepped up to larger injectors and a larger pump, he could make more power. I am hoping I will make only as much smoke as he makes when he is standing on it.
