Whew!!! Murphy has left Decatur!
Sorry.
Sorry.
How much did the rebuild set ya back?
Ouch. Thankfully you didn't hae a lot into buying the tranny lol.
Well, I think Murphy has moved on. My ZF5 should be done today. If so, I'll try and get it in the truck Friday night/Saturday. The reverse slider and reverse gear were toast. Both had to be replaced. New seals added too.As far as the transmission dust cover, I beat it with a hammer until I felt better (good therapy) and hopefully it will clear the flywheel now.
Got a good deal done on the wiring. There is still hope that I will get the crew cab on the road for my trip at the end on the month.

I always felt better after swinging my BFH.
There is nothing a hammer will not fix.![]()

You need to buy the electrical BFH. Works great on any PCM, TCM, home computer or radio that ****** you off.![]()

Heath, if it is any comfort, the Night Moose has been running without a flywheel cover since we built it.
I have a ZF getting ready to go in the Moosestang which is in the "wonder what I bought?" catagory also. I'll hang the Murphy Zapper in the garage and hope for the best (looks like a bug zapper, but has a yellow light).

I wouldn't say that too loud doc, ****** girl might get jealous!![]()
Yeah, she hates missing out on any chance to get somdomized.

That and the crossmember were all that I got done. I will try and get the US Gear underdrive and the transfer case behind the transmission tonight. I hope to have the truck out of the shop and on the road by the end of the weekend.
