I got to drive the truck again! The metric fittings that I ordered came in yesterday, but with 35-40 MPH winds and gusts of 60-60 MPH, I was NOT going to work on replacing the lift pump until today. I drove 30+ miles and it worked fine. The fuel pressure was generally 4-5 PSI going down the highway.

Well it's that time of year again. Another guy and I cut enough for now. We'll start on the rest of the tree behind my trailer and what's on the sheds and the ground after the first of the year. I have more than enough fire wood for this winter so the rest will be the other guy's. I didn't really want any, but decided that since I'm using my saws, my fuel, and my bar oil, I should at least get one trailer load.

I finally got both the 2014 front seat re-dyed and the driver seat bracket made and have it mounted.

I was able to use the power supply for the lumbar in the original seat to power all the movement functions on the new one. Up, down, forward, back, recline and the lumbar on the new seat. Can't use the vent and heat functions yet but I was able to use my original seat belts. It's comfy :)

Thanks!

I've been pretty busy this past year with my new job + our economy is tanking hard so spare change to throw at the ol'girl is sparse right now. Fortunately I got engaged to an amazing woman in Texas so I'll be moving south within a year's time if all goes well so you guys will be stuck with me for good!
It's time, isn't it?
I'm heading out there in the spring.
Tired of the libs in Seattle and Tacoma outnumbering every conservative in the entire state.
Good Luck on your plans, and Congrats!

Noticed the coolant reservoir was low couple days ago and have taken a couple days to view and monitor things with the engine cold. Tightened up rad hose clamps throughout but think the leak may be coming from the water pump. Still not positive but hopefully getting the issue narrowed down

Nice. How does it sounds compared to the Sony. I’ve got a cheapy right now mainly for the lower back up camera I point at the hitch so I can hitch and go with no help or getting in and out. But mine sounds like garbage. Not many single dins have a screen. I’m about to go with a kenwood and get a separate screen for that camera.
Put my new radio in and retired the Ole Sony. Doesnt look too bad

I really dont hear much of a difference. The Sony may have been just a little clearer but not really noticeable. It definitely gets alot louder and has a pretty good eq.. the main reason I put this one in was for the backup camera. Its really hard to see backing up at night with the crew cab long bed. I like it so far. I only paid like 120 for it from Walmart.

The screen is non detachable so it was a little tricky trying to figure out mounting since the screen is slightly larger than the hvac/radio bezel. So you have to slide the radio in the bezel before mounting the radio in the single din bracket. The little cage that locks it into the single din socket was just a touch to big to fit through the trim bezel. I needed up just taking that off and wrapping tape around the radio until it was a snug fit into the socket. It worked out pretty good. It doesn't move at all and it'll take a good bit of effort to pull it back out.

The cage in the pic is the one that has to come off and the tape is what I used to wrap around the body of the radio to make it fit snug. You dont need the zip tape. Duct tape will do the same thing its just all I had on hand lol

Not today but yesterday, my neighbors were having a tree fell, and one landed on my camper and truck. Camper is okay, but hood and cowl have a sizeable ding. Of course owner of the company is trying to lowball me.
Jokes on him, I keep full coverage on my truck. It'll get fixed... Just sucks, its the original hood and paint.
