Clutch Fork Interchange

I have a T 19 transmission and my clutch fork has a lot of wear where it rides on the TO bearing. Rock Auto doesn't have a listing for '85 or '86 trucks. Part # E6TA 7515AA. I found listings for later trucks with ZF 5 trans. Will the ZF 5 clutch arm work on T 19? Ford part # is slightly different but the 7515 part is same. I suppose I could build up the wear area with a weld. Not sure if this will affect the temper.

I would be more inclined to think there could be interchange amongst the (older) 4spd clutch forks... 80-86 anyway, possibly late 70's too.

I'm not so sure. Our clutches are hydraulic. I'm not sure if any were in the 70's.

Few weeks back I pulled the Peddle assembly out of a 81 F-150.
It had the mechanical Clutch linkage.
Looks identical to the one in the 86 F-250 hydraulic.
Only difference, the little lever on the right side we chop the pin off
of for the Heim Joint mod, is longer.

Since Iam on the subject and my Mind is wondering....
I wonder if the Peddle assembly for an automatic is the same?
Iam thinking the aluminum cast part.
Next time Iam at PNP and see an auto Bull Nose I`ll dive in and rip
it apart....

My guess is yes they are as long as you're talking about Bull Nose trucks. The Dent Sides are probably different. In fact, I'm not even sure that they had the aluminum part.

Read some interesting threads etc...on various forums.
They are scare as hens Teeth.

Sourcing an OE clutch fork

im having a difficult time finding a new or used OE clutch fork for my 83 F-250 w/ T-19. Do any of y’all have a good used one? Tried sourcing one through the dealer route with no luck, reason I’m looking for one is that are which makes contact with the pivot ball is gouged out badly. I was...

I bought one on ebay supposedly for my era truck. Part # was E4TA rather than E6TA and the pivot point was in a different place so I returned it. I dug through my parts stash and actually found one with a lot less wear than my original, so I think I am good for awhile. I was in an accident years ago and my '86 was totaled by other person's insurance (it was their fault, ran the stop sign into my path) I took every part I could imagine including the engine, transmission, transfer case, drivelines, dash, wiring harness, you name it. My '85 is currently running the engine from the "86 after a rebuild and the transmission.
