So I was down at my local scrap yard and the owner told me he had a truck I should go look at. It's a 1994 f350, grabbed the front fenders off of it and are now debating on whether or not to grab the turbo. It's all factory but the fins are chewed up. Pretty sure I'll go get it this weekend but wanted to know if it still has a value, maybe you turbo builders might be interested. Either way ill be picking away once again on another truck lol.

If I was still a Ford-faithful, I'd drag the whole thing home. 4 door cab and a rebuildable factory-IDIT are hard to beat.

I'd be willing to buy it for a reasonable price, I been looking for a factory kit to replace my first gen sidewinder because it doesnt fit well with the e4od swap and pipes for it are ridiculous in price. Unless it's junk or overpriced I'd get the whole engine and part it out. If you ask around $800-1000 for the complete turbo kit you will sell it very quickly. I however am looking for that 500 dollar kit... I'm probably S.O.L

That much even with the fin broke?
Pretty sure I'm buying the whole motor next week.
The dude drove the truck to the scrapyard, ripped the rear end out and left it.
So it's a low mile motor with a manual zf behind it.

:eek:o_Ocookoo wow. IDIT's are basically gold-plated around here and you've got one with 4 ft weeds growing through the engine bay on a clean quad-cab, WTH. What a find!

If you want to move the motor, minus the turbo kit, let me know.

And Edit. I'll be in Central Penn (near state college) next month around the 15th through 23rd.

What part are you located in?

Here we are at the end of the day.
Still pretty amazed the condition this motor is in.
Going to list the turbo kit on FB, make some money back and start a rebuild.

I wouldn't be in a rush to sell the turbo kit/jewelry. Murphy's Law...

Get the engine built and swapped in. You might need some of these extra pieces along the way.

Sell the leftovers after you're done.

I'm glad I got what I did.
Kinda a surprise deal, I bought the whole thing knowing I could make my money back. Was the only way I could justify financially.
It's all good, I seem to have good luck finding idit trucks. Lol
