yes. she did say she will do her best to keep us as close as possible. i think they will kinda keep like a section for us but wont really put everything on hold if that makes sense.

Or conversely, is there an area we are trying to stay in? If you look at different satellite maps some show trees on all the pull through spots and some show no trees on the back row of pull through spots. I’m guessing the trees have been removed because subtraction is faster than addition.

Elijah, where are you staying? Are you hosting campfire? Trying to figure out safe staggering distances.

i am going to reserve a spot tomorrow for a camper i dont have yet lol. we will most likely be in the middle rows, (10 or 28)

they have a very nice fire place near the pavilion so it'll either be there or at my site. depends on how many of us total.

its a really nice place and the high temp of 75-80 should comfort all.

Sheesh, I'll bring my jacket then :p

I thoroughly enjoyed the temperatures at the Virginia rally. The wife.... Not so much. But as a result I now have working A/C in the truck so I really won't complain :D.

I really don't understand why I prefer the heat like that. Kinda odd for a northerner lol.

i just reserved site 26. there are several open in that area so hopefully the staggering distance will be short lol.

we get a 10% discount also.

pending on head count i can reserve a time for us all to drive up mt Washington. that is an 8 mile drive with 15% grade to 6,288 ft.

Okay. So Google says that there are trees on that row you are on.

You must be registered for see images attach

Maps shows there being not many trees there.

I have no idea which image is more current. Logic would say the trees were probably removed. Any thoughts Elijah?

Here’s the map for reference.

So it looks like the front row is more shaded for those vampires in the group (like my wife).

I’ll probably try to get reservations made this week. Still trying to decide if we are departing Saturday or Sunday for the return trip.

i am guessing the second picture is more current and accurate, judging by the added objects and larger trees. i remember the trees but that was in 2015.

If we can make it. It will be a last minute decision like last years. But Also depends if we decide to mate our dogs. Which will ruin rest of camping from June/July on :(

I wanted to let them mate now, but the wife reminded me we are hosting spring gathering and the pups would be born about then. So female is in a diaper and the male is about to loose his mind..

Sorry I've been absent. 11-19th works great for me.

I'll reserve my spot soon. Going to be weird (Awesome) not sleeping in a tent this year.

Looking forward to it. Definitely do the MT Washington drive. That's someting I've always wanted to do.

Looks like it's 800 miles one way for me.
