I have that IDIT manual, lots of good information in it. Anyone that owns and works on his own 7.3 non or turbo needs one.
I agree. What little skimming I did through it was good reading. The 7.3 manual seems to be about the engine and the truck. The 6.9 manual is for overhauling the engine. It's for both Ford and Internationals. There's pictures and descriptions for both.
I agree if you're doing your own work without the manual it's just guessing. There's a ebay guy has complete 3 volume sets of ford manuals on PDF for $10, I got one for my bricknose 91 and another set for '93 |(even tho they're largely the same) and again for the '06, and also came with the engine supplements. As I actually need a section I print the pages out and put them in a binder.
