Since I just had to replace my thermocouple a few months ago:
The probes come with wires(all one piece ready to go) and generic K-type thermocouples are only about $14 shipped on Amazon. So a dual setup would only cost $14 more than the gauge difference.

As said you only need 1 for your setup unless you have a significant injector issue. Would still be cool!

I looked at those at the time. They came with however long a wire run that you wanted and were cheap enough to try. Problem is that I wasn't sure if they'd function or be accurate so I didn't pull the trigger. In my eyes, a gauge that is inaccurate is worse then no gauge at all.

I run twin Auber digital's, and can't imagine why anyone would think that only a single one would suffice on a V style engine.. They are so accurate that I can tell you what the temperature outside is just by flicking on the key (if the engine is cold). With a little creativity you can make it look just fine in a dash pod.

So in reality besides a noise maker what's the beinifits of straight pipe exhaust with no turbo?
When compared to the stock exhaust, it will flow better since there's no restriction. It should help to keep your EGTs down a little but too. Don't expect a huge power gain though.

I'm 53 years old but still have a tough of teenager in me so yes it's a noise maker.
I also like building stereo systems that will keep up with the kids.
My 19yo gets jealous of my stereo in my other pickup cause if I turn it up my bass will hit harder than his. I just don't turn the subs up that high.

I live away from any cities and neighbors are not an issue as we are spaced out a bit.
I've always been a bit of a car and truck buff and enjoy having something to tinker with and make either fast or loud. That was part of the reason I got this truck. The other was because I am wanting to do some traveling and this truck will be a good RV puller.
Being retired leaves me with too much time on my hands.

Doubt it will make any noticeable difference.

Twin pyro wouldn’t hurt, but a single is probably fine. If you really want to do it right out one on each cylinder and feed it into an auto logging system to give you an average and max delta value.

UPDATE: Exhaust was done two days ago. It sounds very healthy and did give a much better throttle response from what it previously had. As stated I cannot tell if there is more power but I've never had a load on it since I've owned it so I may never really know.
Now I am getting the air conditioning back up and going (necessity in the south) then I'll get the intake some more air.
The main thing is I'm having fun keeping busy on a project that I will get some use from.

It will give it more power. It may be as little as a couple horsepower. The better throttle response is a plus for sure. The main thing is that you're happy with it. A little advice. Since it appears that your stacks are open at the top, you may want to put flappers on them or put some small holes in the bottoms of the pipes at the lowest point in the exhaust. In theory, if there was a monsoon, water could back all the way up to your engine and actually go into a cylinder or two through the open valves if the engine's not running. The water could also build up over time it you didn't run the engine for a while. I saw a truck with open stacks and small holes in the pipes. I absolutely HATED the sound the exhaust made coming out of those holes, but it would have done the trick.

I already put 2 small holes (one on each side). I went with 1/16th of an inch which I think will be plenty.
