What would this be called and any suggestions about getting it off or replacing?

It is attached to the side of the IP and goes under what seems to be a sensor. I'm changing all the fittings over to a new IP.

I've had to take a little bit ob heat to the screws to get them to turn. You may want to try some heat and then quench it with your favorite penetrating oil.

That's what I'd recommend. Once you get it off, you should be able to find new set screws if yours are damaged.

I haven't worked on one of those since about 2001. I think it's metric, but I'm not even sure on that. I just mostly work on mine, and I'm a stickler on standard trannys.

You're the man. It's a Metric 2.5 and heat and that 2.5 worked perfectly. I've spent the last 30 minutes tip toing around this thing

I'd have to look, but there's a slight chance that I may have one in my "pack rat" drawer in my tool box. No guarantees. It seems like I may have seen one. Otherwise, Thewespaul may have one.

Well I guess that I won't have to go look tomorrow night then. Like I said, if the set screws seem to be even a little bit messed up, replace them. Antisieze wouldn't hurt either. You may nave to drive out a pin in your replacement pump before you can reinstall this piece. It's for the VRV for a C6.

Yes there's two. If you need to replace either one, take it with you so you can match up the threads.
