375 degree temp is bad mmmmkay.
3000 rpm stall on a gas motor is cool on a diesel not so much.
The converter on my c6 let go today.
Not sure what went but it sounded like a handfull of bolts in a coffee can.
I'll cut it open and post pics next week after I swap in another slush box.
I got my but kicked by a 90 E350 ambulance today. A simple alternator change turned into a disaster.
First one was bad and didn't work at all.
Second worked for 15 mins.
Third time was a charm after I drove 100 miles to get it.
Talk about wedged in there.
The d60 part was 30 minutes start to finish it just took 4 months to get to it.
At the same time I went with new springs in the rear. That took longer as I just cut all the old springs out with a torch. I'm to old and lazy to fight rusted up suspension.
Anyway using 94 f350 gasser...
All made out of scrap so far. When and if I ever get it done it will all look seamless. I just wish I had a good weekend to work on nothing but the bumper. On a side note those tanks weighed 18200 lbs. Talk about pull hard with 3.55s and a c6.

after
I just picked up a $1200 94 350 5 speed gasser for the swap. The hard part will be deciding on making the zf bolt to my 7.3 or just selling the engine and trans till i find a different one.
I can tell you one thing I will be glad to get that tire eating pos out from under my truck.
I hate the search feature here. clutch pedal question
Anyway I need to know the exact difference between a 86 clutch and brake pedal assembly and a 94 pedal assembly. Pictures would be great if anybody has them.
I was looking for mini toggle switches for a switch panel I need to build and found this place. Compared to radio shacks prices I'll take the chance.

I will be ordering some switches and LEDs soon. I'll post up the experience.
So I had some speedometer issues which was caused by a transfer case that was pretty much FUBAR. I found a brand new in the Borg warner box 1356 on craigslist for 100 bucks and yesterday started the swap.
I grabbed a small drain pan expecting a couple quarts of atf. So I pull the plug and drop...
88 f250 is the vehicle.
When I bought the truck the rear brakes would lock up immediately on rock. In the course of the build I replaced everything in the rear and front, bypassed the rabs and installed a proportioning valve. It still tries to lock the rear.
The truck was farmerized when I...
Kind of a timeline here.
The first is a 91 that dad bought for the flatbed. He paid 300 for the truck on an auction and I took the flatbed off and put a junker box on it. the motor was great but the rest of the truck wasnt much worth a crap. It was used at an ag service and was torn up. I...
86 f250 4x4 it had no gear on the vss when i got it. Pulled the back cover and the drive gear looks good so put a new driven gear in and new cable. Everything seemed to work fine for about 10 milea until i noticed my cruise control acting up. If you are going 60 and step on the go pedal the...
