York on board air

I've decided I'm likely not going to fix the ac in my 6.9 since all my other trucks have working ac and this truck is more of my work truck since it's a 4x4 and my other idi is not. I've seen many threads on people installing these york air compressors that have a sump for oil and was wondering if anyone had one they didn't have plans for.

York compressor you can find under the hood of many 70’s fords. You will have to make your own bracket unless you get lucky like I did and found a unicorn in the junk yard. 84 f350 with dealer installed air that used a York.

There is a couple different size compressors, I forget how to tell the difference but all of them will pump air, some faster than others due to larger pistons

It's in the model number. The "210" is the larger displacement one, the "209" is the next size down. I can't remember what is below that but I think you'll want either 209 or 210 for onboard air.

I've had one for several years as one of my "someday" projects. It will be going on my F350 with the air horn from my grandfathers old truck.

They are broken down into "left and right" as well. If memory serves, it'll be an L or R after the model number (like 210R or 210L) and its the outlet direction. I "think" you'll want a left outlet if you lay it down on the drivers side and right for passenger side. If you keep it up right it shouldn't matter as much as long as you can route the lines. It's been a while since I looked it all up.
