The truck turned 400K today, but not according to the odometer......

maybe you should try filling it up a little more often, looks like you're running a little low on fuel

Naww, I got to fill up on some one else's credit card so I filled both tanks. The rear one leaks so I am running it as low as possible. Most of the time I run off the front tank.

My understanding is that all the ford odometers do that. Why they couldnt't figure out how to make a 4 in that column is a mystery.

My dad was thinking that if they only used a 2 bit memory slot for the hundred thousands slot, then it would only be able to count 0, 1, 2, 3, and no higher.

how to legally roll back the odometer 100k:D just over 200k more for me

Thats the same thing with my brothers VW passat...except it goes back to 0.....we found this out AFTER we bought it thinking it only had 150k......

At least your later trucks have room for a 100,000 place, my truck just rolled over 200K(I think) and it rolled back to 0 as my 89 Ranger also did.
