Most likely the Salvage title, sometimes these are a royal pain to deal with to get the truck street-legal, so folks just opt to not even register the vehicle with the DMV and use it only on their own property - salvage title don't matter then, for the most part.

Yup, salvage and built titles are a royal PITA to get through on inspections and numerous trips to the DMV and lots and lots of patience.
Heck I think Mater cost me 7 trips to the DMV before all said and done.

Get another truck thats been totaled but not "totaled" via the DMV get the ole drill out and yeah you know what to do. Don't get caught...
