I figured that out too... :D

The belt is much long than it needs to be with the new pulleys so it'll be loose. Thanks for the tip. :)

Well, bigger, it seems, isnt always better...

No matter how i try, the motor is not going to turn the pump. I tried 2.28:1 reduction, i tried the same reduction with a 1HP motor (almost fried it), and i tried direct drive. Nothing has turned the pump faster than about 60-80 rpm... But a 1/2 drill turned it at 2k just fine...

So now i need a new pump... Any suggestions? I might try a standard volume SBC pump (ive got the high volume now) if i cant find a smaller one...

Round 2.....

Got a power steering pump off a 92 VW and a fitting so i can use my hydraulic hose. Total cost about $39.

Have to wait til monday to try it out....



P.S. I also got my 'fuge.... :D
