Yes I haven't heard it run but it's been sitting 7 years so yeah I'm going to run some kind of cleaner rather it be Marvel Mystery Oil Or Auto-RX Oh and yes it's been proven that it helped by forum members. Guess there Lying Too huh? You've never heard this engine run, stop trying to fix problems that don't exist. No, Auto-RX does not help with blow by. There is no proof of this what so ever. You don't even know if your engine has a blow by problem! I'll bet any threads you find here about Auto-RX are very old and outdated, people blindly believed in this product a few years ago, they do not anymore. Sales have gone down tremendously. No IDI experts will tell you to use it, nobody in this thread is.
As always, Auto-RX is a problem looking for a solution.

It's a great idea in the cylinders. Not such a great idea in the crankcase.Mmo is long used for putting in cylinders of a engine that has been sitting.
Plenty of fuel additives work great, this is a totally different system than the oil system. There are oil additives that can be useful as well, just not Auto-RX. And you don't need any additives anywhere if you haven't found any problems yet...Oh, and I guess fuel additive is useless also then.....
I've used Mmo in just about everything from a fuel additive to a penetrating oilMmo is long used for putting in cylinders of a engine that has been sitting.
Since wd40 won't work, would pb blaster?
