Where is the OIl pressure sending unit

Well I grounded it out and the gauges moves from PEGGED Zero to 1/32" So it is a good assumption the gauge or wiring is bad

Yeah if you unpluged it and you grouned it and the gauge goes through a full sweep then it is your sender ;Sweet

Or are you saying it only moves 1/32"

Yes. the gauge went from pegged low to barely on the red in low.

I put a mechanical Sunpro Gauge in. Now you can see the ACTUAL oil pressure

Mechanical??? Better hope no oil leaks into interior. haha

I've have one in my pulling truck for YEARS with not one issue. Furels are tight and a grommet where it passes thru the firewall

Can you tell us or pics of seals section?

I have VDO pressure senders on my Detroit, love mechanicals! My tach is still cable drive too. When the cables go bad they sing to me like a mariachi band full of maracas
