I never had it. At the lot, I didn't even look underneath. I saw the fill port for the DEF tank under the hood, so I assumed it was there. Lol it's not going to see the dealer for anything except recall work, if any comes up. Right now, actually the takata airbag thing is still going on. But "no fix."

That’s good, keep it away from the stealership. Only reason I bring it up is around here you can’t trade in deleted trucks, so you gotta privately sell them but not a deal breaker for everyone.

Well, I don't like the price I'd be paying for a truck missing $10k of federally required emissions equipment. Sure, People delete them all the time. But now it has no resell/trade value.
He doesn't want to budge at all on price, so now he can just buy it back. And he wanted to be a ***** about it, so I'll let him get investigated for selling illegal vehicles.
So most likely outcome is "hello 6.7" [emoji6]
For anyone wandering, I do still have the 7.3 lol

He said I couuld bring it back, but he would have to charge me the detailing fee, and for dipping the tank to check for gas. Claimed he does that on every truck. (But won't check for a missing dpf?)
I feel like he's going to claim it has gas in the tank.

All went well returning the truck. I think he had a come to Jesus moment.
Decided to wait on a truck. But do to other life circumstances, still needed more room. So my truck is staying for now.
Still have the edge, until we can get rid of it. Lol
But.... brought home a 2018 Buick encore for $16k. 7 miles on it, full warranty, damn good financing rate, etc.
