Water pump install

I'm putting on a new water pump and I read in the tech articles that article about water pumps. The four bolts that need the sealant. Will this thread sealant do the job?

Probably but I've never used it. Permatex Ultra-Black or Gray is my go to.

That might work but it is made for tapered pipe threads with much less space in the threads to seal. I usually use a high quality engine silicone such as Permatex Right Stuff.

Ok , I guess I should stick to an rtv silicone type. This thread sealant doesn't seem like it would fill very large voids, and these 4 bolts seem to fit loosely it the captured nuts. Thanks
