Since I can’t stomach parking, parting, or selling my truck to anyone, (and I’m to cheap to buy a crew cab that I’m not going to part out) I’m going to start upgrading my truck to be more like I want it to be.

Here is a list of what I have already done.

- 85 6.9
- 2nd kingpin dana 60 - 3.55 geared
- 96 10.25 LS rear from a cc f250 (4.10 gears)
- hydroboost brake booster
- 134a ac conversion (freezes ya out)
- 20/40/20 tan bench seat with lumbar
- 3rd transfer case
- 2nd front bumper
- Baby Moose pump
- BB injectors from Russ

There are several others that I just can’t remember right now.

I’ve always hated the red interior and decided that I’d rather have tan. For 75 bucks I pulled a tan eddie bower dash and door panels from a 91 bronco that will be going in this week. I just need to pull some rear paneling from another f150 that I had found to complete the swap. With this I will also be insulating the interior to hopefully keep out as much heat an noise as I can.

I also just picked up a 95 front clip that will be going on as soon as I get the new motor swapped in from my 94 f250 factory turbo donor. That’s if I can figure out why I’m getting little bits of water in the oil. If I can’t do that then my current motor will have the heads pulled to be cleaned up and will get studs, paint and the factory turbo. I had bought an ats 088 but when I found the 94 donor I decided I’d rather have a wastegate for around town pulling.

With the front clip I also bought a set of 4 in lift springs for 100 bucks that will most likely be going on tomorrow. I already have blocks so I need to get longer u-bolts and some new shocks.

Once all the above is taken care of I will need to track down a new set of tires to go on the 16x10 eagle alloys rims that I bought about a month ago. When I found these I decided not to run the factory alcoa's that I bought so those need to go lol. The current wagon wheels came off of a 79 power wagon, I traded a receiver hitch for those when I got the truck my sophomore year of high school.

Once these are completed the frame will be painted, my issopro gauges and pillar pod will be installed as will one of my lund sun visors and air bags(all of which have been in my closet for the past 2 years cookoo ). That and a little body work and it will be ready for the white and read paint job that I see in its future.

Hopefully when it’s all said and done everything will be the way I want it and it will be ready to be driven another 5-10 years.

Below are some pics of my truck and the donor 94 on the trailer, as well as some of the parts that are going to be put on my truck soon.

Man I would ever ditch that front end for the newer one! Just my opinion but I wish I had the money to do all that to mine. If I did I would keep it.

The front clips going to be one of the last things done. It has a little rust behind the drivers door and some dents from my mom and a bunch of other people hitting it on the passenger side.

I paid 950 for it 5 years ago and have a lot more into it than that. But I work the s'not out of it hauling over loaded, the only original drivelibe par are the tranny and rear driveshaft lol.

This list has gotten pretty long since I use to drive it everyday. I've been liking for deals on most of those parts for years and have had many of them but had to sell them due to school bills.

Sounds like a great project for your truck. The front clip swap is easier than it sounds. At least mine was. Take lots of photos and keep us up to date on the progress.

Will do, I've pulled a few in that past and it wasn't bad with a torch.

I plan to do it last after I do the body so that it can be ready to paint right away. I can't stand the look of a truck with a different color front clip lol.

I don't mind this front clip bit there arnt any hood options for it and I want to get one of the cowl hoods eventually.
