Spotted this on a used car lot in Logan, while i was picking up an 08 F550 with a busted tranny.

I'm not selling it, so I didn't think it should go in The Marketplace. I can give you contact info, if you PM me.

Badges say 'Ram250', but it's a dually. 4-door, shortbox, 5-speed. Not sure about the year, but certainly not newer than 91, as it's not intercooled. Interior needs some work, and the paint job looks much better in the pics than in person.

iirc.....the last crew cab for dodge rolled off the assy line in '85.
This has to be a one-off from someone. If you can get some pics of the interior. Heck, see what the price is too!

Yep the crew cabs are old models. This is likely a '85 or older truck that someone swapped on the newer style grille and chopped the frame to make it a shortie.

When I get home, I'm gonna see if I can find an old crew cab 4x4 somewhere and do a conversion. Hoping so at least.

iirc, he said $3995, but probably would go $3500.

Now that you mention it, several things made me wonder about it. It has later style seats, on homebuilt risers, and vacuum booster. The column cover is missing, and the fuse panel is hanging down. The headliner is new, but looks like gray rv carpet, to me.

He also said something about having front end work done, but I don't remember the details. like I said, i was on a tow call, so it was not a priority.

If it was a 4x4, I would have nabbed it in a hot minute, but I'm horse-poor as it is.

The front end work is fairly typical. He was probably referring to ball joints and tie rod ends. Those are common problem areas on the old trucks like that. Now it is possible that he was talking about more than just that caused by a wreck too.
