uhaul remand IP on a turbo truck?

Did anyone on the forum put a uhaul Ip on their turbo'd truck? Any comments on how it went? Did you have to turn up the fuel? I want to buy one...but just curious how the non-turbo uhaul Pumps worked out.

I have a non-turbo pump on my IDI and it works awesome.

Yes, but I shouldn't have until I ran the engine. My old IP was cranked up 2.5 flats and I never saw a hint of black smoke. So I cranked the new one up the same and my egt's were at 1000 within seconds so I turned it back down 1.5 flats. Now it runs cooler but slightly less powerful than I think it should be. I know it's a lot easier to turn it up on the bench, but resist the temptation and get it running before you make any adjustments. You will be happy you did.
