I am mulling over setting my van up to run on wvo, probably usin the stock front tank with appropriate heating.
idea 1: using tranny fluid to heat the tank pickup, because it is nearby and I am already using an external cooler. The tranny heats up pretty quick, quicker than the coolant.
idea 2: probably not as good, but using the old tranny heat exchanger in the radiator as a final heating for the fuel before going up to the pump, on the plus side it is there and easy to hook up, on the minus side it is probably copper or maybe brass, so it may cause bad reactions, but the stuff will not be sitting in it since I will need to switch back to diesel when I shut down....
anyone have any thoughts on these ideas?
