Anybody have any idea of what the factory turbo for the idis where. I know it is a garret but, what model. I'm trying to get a baseline, or even a turbo to use. I plan on building a custom turbo system eventually.:sly

bring le but dyno up here sometime to see a before i got more power than stock to start with
and ill be selling right around 300 i think a bit over parts to cover my welding wire and beer for the buddy im going to have weld them he makes prettier beads
it cost 220 for the pipe
then 15 for the headder flange im going to use for the crossover pipe
20 for the t3 mount i had
and the manifold flanges not sure yet
so 255 plus a custom flange i gotta have made
then you need a turbo and piping
but im in the whole thing about 600 once alls done

Hummm, in the future i may have to buy some of your headers. I had an idea can't you swap the header sides and flip them up and use them that way. So the outlet goes up instead of down then plumb them like the powerstroke? Thanks for the turbo specs btw.

You may be right. I don't have my truck yet so i'm just thinking of stuff from pictures i've seen. I guess someone could delete the oil cooler, and replace it with a radiator style one by making an adapter plate, need to heat the oil up somehow tho... I've seen a kit like this for the 6.0l.

Might could also make a custom set of headers or manifolds that would allow it to not to hit the oil cooler
