turbo mpg

i have a 94 f350 that came stock with a turbo, the flange broke and it was taken off. i got the truck after the fact and do not know what the mpg's were (15.33 mpg now), will my gpm improve if i put a stock turbo back on.

Yes is the short answer but... You need to drive it responsibly. Usually a turbo gives you an increase of 2 mpg plus the extra hp too... Puts a smile thats hard to get off your face... Makes the wifey or girlfriend question you after you get home from a drive....:eek::angel::D:sly BTW welcome to the forum. Plenty of help here with your turbo.

Possibly...if you use the extra power it will draw your fuel mileage down, if you drive it the same as you do now, you'll get the same or better fuel economy along with lower emissions, better power, and just a more driveable, modern feeling truck.
