Trans flush

So have the next 5 days off and have to change the oil so figured i would do the trans filter also. my question is i want to flush all the fluid with clean i already read another thread about doing it my self but i was wondering how much extra fluid will i need to purge the tc?

I changed my filter and took the drain plug out of the converter, (I have a 93)
and to fill it took 17 quarts. Just about all of it drained. Hope this helps.

I flushed my old C6 a few times ( at IDI rallies, no less) after burning the fluid. each time it took just about 4 gallons before the return fluid was bright red. I just dumped the lines to the aux cooler into a 5 gal bucket, let the engine idle and poured fresh fluid in thru the filler tube.,,Added the old fluid to the fuel tank for the return trip

Same as above...I stick the return line in a 5-gallon bucket as soon as I see it spit, I immediately shut it off and fill with clean fluid...purge a little more out then it's cherry red.
I don't burn the stuff in my engine though.
