tranny question

I am wondering is an eaton fuller 13 speed tranny off of a dt444e will mount up to a 7.3 idi. There made by the same company and there is only 1 c.i. difference in the block size. If anyone has any info plz let me know thanks

I believe someone mentioned you can take the Ford adapter off the back of the 7.3 idi, and replace it with a sae 3 adapter. If the 13 speed has a sae 3 bellhousing, it should bolt up. I believe I heard the 7.3 idi sae 3 adapter was used in school buses and u-haul trucks that had the idi.
