My wife can be in Northern Mongolia out of cell range , while I'm working on electrical issues and EVERYTIME : she will call and need something -right now! So, the dumb mexican gets up to dutifully comply , when I go back to start again I have no idea where I stopped or what I was doing at the time of the interruption. Every time!
Isn't that one of Murphy's laws? If not, it should be!

Virginia... in the brambles
I have pondered this phenomena and I have come to the realization that I must be hardwired to believe that everything My Girl brings up as far as projects and help cannot be safely ignored...only postponed...at my peril...

I started telling Her to let me know if the subject is an immediate necessity or just an idea being floated...and...if She 'really' needs my help on it or merely 'wishes' some company while She breaks out the power tools....

A few 'spirited' (ahem) 'conversations' sometimes followed...and...as a result we came to a loose agreement on ranking the projects.

I did get her to start drawing pictures of Her ideas instead of making me try to decipher hand-motion assisted beginning contractor language.

I gathered up all of the pens, pencils, markers, magnifying glasses and tire crayons and organized them in a short bucket and placed the bunch in a part of the house where we can find it easily.

Yesterday we got a bunch of writing paper from walmart.

We had run out.

God help me....

Well.....I got it back together, correctly. Bright dome lights etc..... still the solenoid just clicks loudly but the starter doesn't engage. I r&r d the starter several years ago. Had it bench tested. It was good. I do not want to replace the starter. It's heavy AF and a pita. Ugh
