Here is one of the farm rescue trucks I acquired. I love the sound and smell of the IDI’s great teenage memories!
Yes, over in Kitsap County, Between Gig Harbor and Port Orchard. At some point I want to replace injectors, glow plugs and Injector Pump. I'll definitely keep you in mind, I appreciate it!
That’s awesome, one of the trucks I’m fixing right now for my Brother, he lives up in Bow WA, I’ll have to get him to join here also. I’m running it up to him this week.

Nice, should be a good rig. I lived in Bellingham for a year when I was a kid, it's a beautiful area up there!

That would take a lot of pictures, I have parts and pieces scattered all over. Including 2 more bull nose, 2 bricks, and 2 obs I just traded for that I haven't even gotten home yet.

James

Sounds like we need to start a "show us your personal salvage yard" thread! LOL

I've only got three parts trucks myself hahaha

Hey folks, newbie here!

Recently bought this little guy, a 1989 F-350 with a 1970's Peterbuilt sleeper, 7.3 IDI w/ ZF5. It drives pretty well considering its age.

Here's a quick clip of it running:

It's been a hauler most of it's life but it's soon getting a frame extension, a custom flatbed slapped on it along with a welder & tool boxes.

Right now I'm lining up to tackle the bodywork, especially the joint between the cab & sleeper. It was well done... 30 some years ago. I also have two 30gal fuel tanks in the works going in-between the sleeper & fenders on each side, obviously one for wmo and i might keep the existing one as a transfer tank for wmo. That would bring it all up to about 75 gallons in total.

In the third pic you can see the rough fenders i made for now so I wouldn't get bothered, I'll incorporate them into the flatbed later on. The running boards I just made yesterday and will finish next weekend, they're uneven & need a proper taper by the wheel.

This thing will keep me busy & poor for a while!

That's like whoa cool looking. If it's straight piped and unbearable, I have pictures of how I made mufflers in the stacks of my tow truck. It's in the "Jesus Freaks WMO tow truck thread".

My favorite muffler spins… ;Poke Although it might not work as good as Jesus freaks stack mufflers… but it quiet a little bit and make some other noise that most people like, including myself

Right now the exhaust goes from stock manifolds to a Y & a resonator, then full 4" out, it sounds great around 2600 rpm but could breath better. I plan on running a true 4" stainless dual exhaust eventually, possibly making my own mufflers similar to what I did on my defunct silverado ss, see pics.

I'll definitely look up your post for ideas & inspiration

That's way more scientific than mine.
