Yesterday I ran about 200 miles with the new deep Mag-hitec trans pan that holds an extra 2 gallons of oil. I changed the temp pickup from the drivers side of the case to the rear of the pan. They have a location for that which is really neat. My Isspro electric gage seemed to not be recording a temp other that 140 degrees. So I shot it with my laser temp gage and it showed 147 degrees after freeway driving around 80 mph for about 40 minutes. Most of that time I saw around 250 to 350 degrees on the pyro because of the 4 inch straight pipe exhaust I just had installed. Motor coolant was around 190 to about 198 degrees also. So things seem to be running fine....
I also found the air pressure in all my tires was around 40 lbs. I thought something was dragging just a bit so now they are 65 lbs but next week I'm hauling 3 horses about 100 miles to a show so they will be upped to 75 lbs. They are "E" rated tires. Maybe next month I will be looking for some pipes for my new $240.00 Hypermax intercooler I bought last year. I kinda wondering how the Banks sidewinder turbo will match up with the Hypermax intercooler lines... I'll probably need an intake hat or as Banks calls it the pressure chamber.... P.S... The Isspro oil pressure electrical gage still shows upwards of 65 to 75 lbs running ans sometimes way past 80 lbs... Crappy gage.... can hardly wait till Isspro starts selling the new gages without the amplifiers. Typ4 said they were just waiting for the contract to run out with the India company thats building these gages now... So Russ... When will this be happening??? Members need to know... Got money to burn and miles to turn.....
