T19 bellhousing

I remember saying awhile back that the 460 t19 bell wouldnt work for redrilling the 6.9 7.3 pattern, because the one that I had wouldnt work for sure......

Well, aquired a few different bells (all alum hydraulic bells, and the 460 and idi bells are the same casting. The 460 bell for sure could be made to work with the idi and the idi bell could be redrilled to big block pattern.

Have enough stuff that I should be able to build a really good drill template (that engages pilot holes for perfect alignment) at some point.

If it is that easy, it makes you wonder what Ford was thinking. It had to be some sort of political reasons in the ranks of Ford Motor Co. For instance, some deal with the union and keeping foundry workers busy, or something like that.
