My truck is all red interior and I was not a fan when I bought it. Had plans to change most of it to black or tan, but after a few thousand miles I love it. It grows on you.

I hear ya on that one. My wife would just look at me with an "are you kidding me?" look on her face, and I'd have to explain to her that it's not that hard to fix, it just takes time. And then convince her to let me actually buy the necessary parts to fix it.

Wives are great, but sometimes they just don't understand trucks. Some of the time, I don't even understand my trucks. They drive me nuts when they're sitting in the driveway and not driving me to where I need to go.

My parents are exactly like that. When i was doing the oil cooler my dad suggested I cut my loses scrap it many times.......the girlfriend is supportive though

Yeah its tuff. I've owned a couple well kept all original, barely driven vehicles before and as soon as I started using them for daily drivers, everything went to crap.

I have a neighbor that gives me grief for always tinkering with my truck but sometimes you have to to keep an old vehicle dependable.
