Storage and filtration question

I recently bought 2 mostly empty fifty-five gallon drums in hopes of storing diesel in one and gasoline in the other. The mixture will probably be around b50-b75 but this is just a guess. I'm new to this so I'm trying to figure out how to start out right so here's few questions:

-do I have to vent the drums?
-what kind of filtration should I use to remove?
-should the drums be cleaned? if so, how to do it or how much would it cost to have someone else do it?
-anything else I left out that is relevant
-what kind of stabilizer should I use?
-what kind of pump to use to get the fuel out once I put it in the drum?

I plan on making bio on my own at some point but I'm more concerned with storage for the time being. The drums are both sealed and one of them actually was used to store methanol of all chemicals, so that'll probably be the diesel drum. Not sure what the other was used for so it would be nice if it was cleaned.

-do I have to vent the drums?
No, store in a dark, dry & cool area.

-what kind of filtration should I use to remove?
First, heat up your oil and pour through a 200 micron 55 gal drum filter
http://www.usplastic.com/catalog/search.asp?search=EZ+strainers&x=16&y=7

Then the oil can be pumped through a 30 micron sediment filter, then for final filtering use these filter bags: http://www.greasecar.com/product_detail.cfm?prodID=11

BioD should be filtered to 5 microns

-should the drums be cleaned? if so, how to do it or how much would it cost to have someone else do it?
My used drums were power washed and dried throughly.

-anything else I left out that is relevant
BioD's shelf life is < 1 year

-what kind of stabilizer should I use?
Since you don't plan on using b-100, diesel fuel stabilizers will work to help in cold starts but won't protect from water contamination.

-what kind of pump to use to get the fuel out once I put it in the drum?
This is a popular pump:

If there's any rust, sand it out, wash it dry it and hit it with wd40 quick so it doesn't start rusting again before you get your veg in there.

I'm not doing the bid D bit, just running WVO. I have a simple setup, 55 gal drum on a bench ( well supported ) with a pipe fitting rigged into the bung that sits about 6" from the bottom, pipe goes out to a 15 micron Goldenrod waterblock filter, then to a 2 micron spin on filter, then to the storage barrels.
I pump from my collection barells into it. let it sit for a week or two to settle, then crack the valve open and let it gravity feed through the filters ( when I get feeling rich I'm going to put one of those nice HF pumps in there to speed things up ) Takes about 6 hours to filter the first 30 gal, a day or two for the rest to trickle through. Works great. I've had this setup for over two years.

For storage get a good biocide like Killem http://www.fppf.com/killem.asp
It runs about $25 a bottle, but it works. it will keep algae from forming and as a nice side effect, a slightly heavy dose will nutralize alot of the rancid smells coming from the veg
