Hi guys my steering wheel is loose and the culprit is the plastic gromet that holds the column shaft to the steering box shaft is gone. When a friend turns the wheel you can see the play. Can anyone tell me the right name of the part I need or a quick fix. Thanks

Rag joint. You can get a "eliminator."

Spend the coin and get a Borgestion Steering Shaft it uses a Ujoint not a rubber disc.

Two choices

Replace Rag Joint....purchase at Ford or parts store maybe...wrecking yard...hit miss if good one

Replace entire shaft with a Borgenson shaft....purchase online

Thats what you need choice is yours.
