That's weird, My 2" pump with 1" suction and 3/4" output through a filter flows fast and it most likely limited to the 15GPM max filter flow. When thinned it flows faster than diesel pumps. I was filling my 50 gallon tank and I went to tighten a transmission line real quick and when I went to check the tank level it started overflowing just before I turned off the pump. I have a HF gas water pump. I'll get some pics this weekend.

20' suction, 10' discharge.

I know a guy that has a 115v Tuthill 700 for sale. I wonder how well it would move wmo.

I'm try taking the pump apart and make sure nothing was inadvertently sucked in there, it sounds like there's a restriction someplace more so than the inlet pipe diameter being too small.
