Clear powder coat the pyrex for corrosion resistance too...then when you run farm fuel DOT could still see yer red fuel


so i got these quick disconnect fuel fittings in today, and they work like a charm!
fuel system parts being ordered tomorrow!

without a clip.
they have a nylon lock inside it.
and a o-ring.
lube, push on, and it seals! now i can have -6AN fitting to the fuel tank, ZERO hose clamps, ZERO air intrusion...

:***: I think that is a little high? 3500 / 60 seconds / 2 (four stroke) / 8 cylinders works out to each cylinder firing 3.6 times per second at 3500 rpm, no? Moot point anyway... you are right on not wanting tubing to expand.
No need to divide by 8. Each cyl fires once every 2 rotations of the crank, regardless of the number of cylinders. Using 3600 (for easy figuring) 3600/60 seconds = 60 rps. 60/ 2 revolutions per squirt = 30.
